Privacy notice
This notice explains what MakoWorks does with the information you send when you join the Mako UI waitlist. We collect only what the waitlist needs. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who is responsible
MakoWorks, the company that makes Mako UI, is responsible for this data.
A privacy contact address will be published here before public launch. Until then, this preview is not for public signups.
What we collect
- Your work email address.
- Which form you used (top of the page or bottom of the page).
- Your consent: the version of the text you agreed to and the date and time.
- Studio licensing request, only if you tick the studio box: that you asked, and when.
- Your Find my setup answers, only if you choose to include them: engine, type of interface, platforms, workflow, priority, project stage and render pipeline, with the date and time you shared them.
- Abuse protection: a keyed hash of your IP address and a count of recent attempts. We cannot read your IP address from this hash, and we do not link it to your email. We delete these records after 24 hours.
To check that an address can receive email, our server looks up the mail servers of its domain. We do not contact the mailbox.
The page sets no cookies and uses no analytics or third-party trackers. Find my setup keeps your progress in your browser's session storage. The browser clears it when you close the tab.
Why we use it
- To send you Mako UI access, release and pricing updates.
- If you ticked the studio box: to contact you about Enterprise or console licensing.
- If you shared your Find my setup answers: to review whether Mako UI fits your project.
We rely on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect what we did before.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist entry until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it through the privacy contact above.
Who processes it
Our hosting provider, Railway, runs the website and its database. Depending on the hosting region, this data can be processed outside the European Economic Area. We do not share your data with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. You can also complain to the data-protection authority of your country.
